WMD, an AI-based M&A advisory firm, announced on the 6th that it recently held a seminar on 'M&A Market Analysis and Economic Outlook for 2025' at SKY 31 Convention on the 31st floor of Lotte World Tower.
The presenters included WMD's CEO Jemin Lee (Lawyer & Accountant), along with ▲ In-Koo Jeon from 'In-Koo Jeon Economic Institute' with 1.02 million subscribers ▲ Sangbin Kwak (Lawyer, Accountant, Real Estate Appraiser) who was in charge of M&A at Kim & Chang Law Office ▲ Sungsu Jang (Lawyer) with experience in PWC consulting and startup founding ▲ Sanghyun Lee (Accountant) who handled IPOs at KB Securities ▲ Jeongtaek Lim (Lawyer), who was responsible for M&A at the law firm Sejong.
CEO Jemin Lee explained M&A efficiency plans for SMEs through a demonstration of the ATLAS system, which evaluates the value of SMEs using AI.
Approximately 100 professionals from investment firms, securities firms, M&A advisory firms, and SMEs attended the seminar and agreed on the practical necessity of the ATLAS system.
CEO Jemin Lee stated, "In the small to medium-sized M&A market, deals are often missed due to small transaction sizes and information asymmetry," and added, "It was a meaningful time to discuss WMD's solution to ensure that SMEs can be smoothly transitioned to the next generation in an aging society, contributing to South Korea's economy."
