Privacy Policy
Article 1 (Purpose of Personal Information Processing)
WMD processes personal information solely for the purposes listed below. This information will not be used for any other purposes. If there is a change in the intended use, WMD will take necessary actions, including obtaining separate consent as required by Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act.
1. Marketing Purposes
- Notifications about seminars, company updates, and other marketing-related activities.
2. M&A Related Notifications
- Updates on mergers and acquisitions activities.
Article 2 (Personal Information Processing and Retention Period)
1. WMD processes and retains personal information within the retention and usage period agreed upon at the collection time from the information subject or as dictated by law.
2. The retention period for personal information is:
- Five years from the date of collection.
Article 3 (Rights and Obligations of the Information Subject and Legal Representative, and Exercise Methods)
1. Information subjects can request access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of processing of their personal information at any time with respect to WMD.
2. The exercise of rights mentioned in Paragraph 1 can be performed via written documents, electronic mail, or fax, in accordance with Article 41, Paragraph 1 of the Enforcement Decree of the Personal Information Protection Act. WMD will respond to these requests promptly.
3. Legal representatives or authorized agents may exercise these rights on behalf of the information subjects. In such cases, a power of attorney as specified in Form No. 11 of the "Notice on Personal Information Processing Methods (No. 2023-12)" is required.
4. The rights to access and request a suspension of personal information processing may be limited under Article 35, Paragraph 4, and Article 37, Paragraph 2 of the Personal Information Protection Act.
5. Requests for correction and deletion of personal information cannot be made if the information is legally designated as a collection target under other statutes.
6. WMD will verify whether the individual making requests for access, correction, deletion, or suspension is the information subject or their legitimate representative.
Article 4 (Categories of Personal Information Processed)
WMD processes the following categories of personal information:
1. Company name, department name, job title, full name, contact information, and email address.
2. The following personal information may be automatically generated and collected during the use of internet services:
- IP address, cookies, MAC address, service usage records, visitation records, and records of misuse.
Article 5 (Destruction of Personal Information)
1. WMD will promptly destroy personal information when it becomes unnecessary, such as when the retention period has expired or the purpose for processing has been achieved.
2. If personal information must still be preserved according to other laws, despite the expiry of the retention period or achievement of the processing purpose, it will be transferred to a separate database (DB) or stored in a different location.
3. The procedures and methods for destroying personal information are as follows:
- Destruction Procedure
WMD selects personal information that needs to be destroyed and proceeds with destruction after receiving approval from WMD's personal information protection officer.
- Destruction Method
Personal information stored electronically is destroyed in a manner that makes it unrecoverable, and personal information on paper is either shredded or incinerated.
Article 6 (Personal Information Protection Officer)
1. WMD has appointed a personal information protection officer responsible for overseeing all tasks related to the processing of personal information, as well as handling complaints and remediation for information subjects. Details of the officer are:

2. Information subjects can contact the personal information protection officer or the responsible department regarding any inquiries, complaints, or remediation requests related to personal information protection that arise while using WMD’s services. WMD will respond and address these inquiries promptly.
Article 7 (Changes to the Privacy Policy)
This privacy policy will be effective from [August 5, 2024].
Article 8 (Measures to Ensure the Security of Personal Information)
WMD has implemented the following measures to ensure the security of personal information.
1. Administrative Measures: Establishment and execution of internal management plans, regular employee training, etc.
2. Technical Measures: Management of access rights to personal information processing systems and installation of security software.
3. Physical Measures: Access control to computer rooms and data storage rooms.
