Economy Business Newspaper recently covered WMD's 4th seminar in an article titled, "WMD Hosts Korea-Japan M&A Seminar with Japanese Listed M&A Advisory Firm."

WMD held its 4th seminar on April 15 at SKY31 Convention, Lotte World Tower, Seoul, under the theme "2026 Korea-Japan M&A Market Trends and SME Deal Closing Strategies."

The event was organized to jointly explore the perspectives of Japanese investors and structural changes in the Korean M&A market, where WMD shared actual deal cases and market insights with industry professionals in attendance.

Greyson (Jemin Lee), CEO, demonstrated the new 'Connect' feature of WMD's buy-side platform 'Deal Scope' at the seminar.

The feature is designed to shorten deal closing timelines and provide an integrated management environment, supporting deal screening based on investment criteria, pre-review of undisclosed deals, and participation in deal structuring through real-time collaboration.

John (Sangbin Kwak), Deputy CEO, presented an analysis of domestic M&A market trends.

Kota Kuranishi of Japanese advisory firm M&A Research Institute Inc. explained the investment criteria of Japanese acquirers.

Economy Business Newspaper also noted that WMD ranked 8th in The Bell's M&A League Table (Financial Advisory, Announced basis) for Q1 2026, is registered as a KIBO M&A Partner, and is an official M&A advisory firm by the KVCA.
