WMD Hosts M&A Seminar at Lotte World Tower

Based on data from one million companies, WMD, a leader in the innovation of the domestic M&A market, announced on the 24th that it will hold an M&A practical seminar on July 4th at 1:30 PM at the SKY31 Convention on the 31st floor of Lotte World Tower.

This event will be held under the theme of 'Innovation in Domestic and Global M&A industries in the Digital Transformation Era', with guest presentations from the listed Japanese M&A advisory firm, Strike Co., Ltd.

WMD is hosting a seminar at Lotte World Tower for the third time, following those in December 2024 and March 2025. Through regular seminars, they continue to share M&A practical data and facilitate industry networking.

This seminar consists of three parts. In the first part, Greyson, CEO of WMD (KICPA and Attorney at Law), will demonstrate 'Teaser Pro', their M&A document automation system, under the theme of 'Digital Transformation of M&A'.

Teaser Pro is a system that automatically generates key documents such as teasers (Teaser) and Information Memorandums (IM) at the early stages of an M&A deal.

Expert consultants perform a detailed prior analysis of company data, financial data, and industry and market trends to build highly reliable data. Teaser Pro then analyzes and structures the core content based on this, creating a draft document. Consultants review and supplement it to enhance the completeness of the final document.

Previously, the entire process from data collection to document writing was done manually, consuming a lot of time. However, Teaser Pro automates this procedure, drastically reducing the practitioner's working time. This allows practitioners to concentrate more on high-value tasks such as strategy formulation or negotiating structure design.

Sellers can allocate more resources to key phases of the transaction, such as responding to acquiring parties and preparing for due diligence, thus expecting a reduction in total transaction duration and an improvement in success probability.

In the second part, Shizumi En and Yuma Yoshimizu from Strike Co., Ltd. will present and share the structure of the Japanese M&A market, industry trends by sector, and actual advisory cases.

Strike Co., Ltd. has a record of active transactions in various industries in Japan and plans to present based on on-the-ground strategies and market trends.

In the third part, Deputy CEO John of WMD will analyze actual M&A cases of small and medium-sized enterprises in Korea by type. John, who has 37 professional qualifications, including KICPA, Attorney at Law, and appraiser from Kim & Chang law office, will introduce M&A cases by type, including family succession types, those targeting strategic investors (SI), and financial investors (FI).

Participants will have the opportunity to design an M&A strategy tailored to their situation by referring to the characteristics and actual transaction conditions of each type.
