CEO Jemin Lee demonstrated the ATLAS system, which assesses the value of SMEs through AI, to explain ways to enhance the efficiency of M&A for SMEs.
Approximately 100 experts, including investors, securities firms, M&A advisory firms, and SME representatives attended the seminar and expressed their agreement about the practical necessity of the ATLAS system.
In particular, CEO Jemin Lee stated, "In the small to medium-sized M&A market, opportunities for sale are often missed due to small transaction sizes and information asymmetry," and added, "It was a meaningful time to discuss WMD's solution to smoothly transition SMEs to the next generation in an aging society, contributing to the Korean economy."
Meanwhile, WMD aims to streamline M&A matchmaking through the AI-based ATLAS (Automated Transaction Valuation Analysis System). It analyzes data on more than one million companies to assess M&A needs and automatically evaluates estimated sale prices. In the future, they plan to automate the creation of company teasers and IM (Information Memorandum) used in M&A.
